1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Educational Use Only
This product is for educational purposes only and is not a clinical IQ test, diagnostic instrument, medical advice, or psychological advice. See our Educational Disclaimer for full details, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
3. Subscriptions and One-Time Purchases
BrainProfile offers a $1 trial unlock that starts membership access. After the trial, membership renews automatically at $9.99 per week unless canceled. Membership includes the unlocked score report, weekly cognitive drills, retests, weak-zone training, and score tracking. You may cancel at any time from your account page via the Polar customer billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may also offer a one-time report option as a single $9.99 charge with no recurring billing. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Polar; we never store your full card details.
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. See our Refund Policy for full details. To request a refund within 14 days of your purchase, email billing@brainprofile.tech.
5. Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate the service: Polar (payments and subscription billing), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (application hosting), and Supabase (database hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping, reselling, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, including questions, archetype descriptions, copy, and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use your own results for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
